The Summer of Wonder marches into week six, and we're here to help you keep your spirits up! Struggling to explain social distancing to a child in your life? Check out this hula-hooping video from Free Library Early Learning. Looking for a sweet green urban retreat? Why not harvest mulberries with the Field Teen Center? Or try a brand new recipe with the Culinary Literacy Center? Read on for more virtual fun with the Free Library!

Experience the magic of a kaleidoscope when you learn to make your own!

Tuesday: Question Connection
Ever wonder how energy transfers between objects? Build your own chain reaction and find out.

Wednesday: Culture Corner
Music is the language of the soul. Create your own rhythm with an instrument you make yourself!

Virtual Performance: Wizard’s Wand with the Amazing Mr. Q! | Wednesday, July 8, 11:00 a.m.
The Amazing Mr. Q's animal friends have found a little stick which they think is a "Wizard's Wand." Join them on for a lesson in caring and sharing, with magic, comedy, puppets, and fun!

Thursday: DIY Lit Lab
Make a word ladder and use it in a new game you can play on your own or with friends.

Friday: Freestyle
Design a chalk obstacle course and stay active all weekend long!

Join Miss Abbe on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. live to learn techniques to ground your body and mind.
For teens and adults.

Virtual Preschool Storytime | Tuesday, July 7, 10:00 a.m.
Enjoy stories, songs, and fun for the preschool crowd with Mr. John.

Kids Can Code | Wednesday, July 8, 3:00 p.m.
Learn Python, a real-world computer language, and use your new skills to make quizzes, simulate snowflakes, and create a space collider game! This 6-week program for teens and tweens requires registration.

Virtual English Conversation Group | Thursday, July 9, 1:30 p.m.
Build your confidence in speaking English while meeting other international adults in a casual learning environment.

Reduce Reuse Recycle Arts and Crafts | Friday, July 10, 2:00 p.m.
Get crafty with Ms. Kayla each Friday using recyclables and other common materials around the house!
For pre-k, school-age, and families.
