The New Year is a time to reaffirm commitments and resolve to meet new goals. Leslie Walker, Interim Director of the Free Library of Philadelphia, and Dave Edwards, Interim CEO of the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation, are leading the Library and Foundation through this critical period as the Library’s resources and programs evolve and expand to meet the present needs of communities across Philadelphia.
In this episode of the Reference Desk, you will get to know Leslie and Dave as they lead the Library and the Foundation while a national search is conducted for permanent leadership.
Leslie Walker served as the Chief of Staff for the Free Library of Philadelphia for the past three years. She provided management oversight for executive leadership, including communications, customer service, and the coordination and facilitation of relations across Library divisions and City administration.
Dave Edwards served as the CFO of the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation for 10 years and was uniquely positioned to immediately step into this role.
