Drowning in Email? Pick up the Phone.

By Communications Office RSS Wed, April 11, 2007

Send: The Essential Guide to Email for Office and Home, describe at least seven communication situations in which they advise one to step away from the keyboard and start dialing, including "[when] you need to cut through the communication forest." If you've ever had the pleasure of sorting through dozens of different emails just to determine a date, time, and location for a meeting, then you know what they're talking about. Send became available in libraries and bookstores yesterday, and it's already gotten no shortage of press, including an article in this week's New Yorker and a topic slot on NPR's Talk of the Nation .
