Lately, transgender and gender non-conforming youth have been a hot topic across the nation. Many people feel confused, even panicked, and it can be hard to tell what claims being made are even true.
We've assembled a panel of experts: real parents and professionals who support transgender and gender non-conforming children and adolescents. Our panel will answer all of your questions and dispel the myths and rumors you've seen flying around the internet. Our panels features experts from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Attic Youth Center, Galaei, as well as independent parent educators.
Our panel will come to four different locations across the city. We're calling this series: "Empathy Versus Misinformation: Transgender Youth."
- In West Philly, at the Walnut Street West Library, Monday, July 11th, 5:30pm to 7:30pm
- In North Philly, at the Lillian Marrero Library, Tuesday, July 26th, 3:30pm to 5:30pm
- In Center City, at the Parkway Central Library, Friday, August 12th, 6:00pm to 8:00pm
- In South Philly, at the Thomas F. Donatucci Library, Friday, August 26th, 2:30pm to 4:30pm
