The BRIC and Patent and Trademark Resource Center are offering a free Intellectual Property Workshop that introduces basic intellectual property concepts to you.

This workshop will be held Tuesday, August 6, from 3:00–4:00 p.m. Advanced registration is required for this event. 

The workshop will cover:

• The four types of intellectual property
• The difference between all four types of intellectual property
• The benefits of a federal registration
• Common reasons for application refusals
