More Writers Drawn to Comics

"In all the years that I've been writing--15 years now--there's only one genre that's really debuted in the New York Times Book Review, and that's the graphic novel," says author Jodi Picoult in a recent piece on NPR's Morning Edition. "And that tells me that someone's taking them really seriously as a form of literature." Picoult, the author of 15 novels, was contacted by DC Comics last year and asked to write several issues of their recently re-launched Wonder Woman series.
