Share Your Stories!

The Free Library of Philadelphia is full of stories—mysteries, autobiographies, romances, and Pulitzer Prize winners are just a few of the tales residing on our bookshelves. But the most important stories are found beyond the elaborate covers and well-loved plotlines—in you, our customers. From a homeless customer using our career resources and finding a job to a newly discovered passion turning around the life of an at-risk student, the Free Library has the ability to transform lives for the better.

And now we want to hear from you! Has the Free Library had a positive impact on your life? Share your stories in the comments below or email us at stories@freelibrary.org!

you should do something in honor of E Lynn Harris. He came to Central faithfully to promote his books and do readings. I did not see or hear any comments from the Free Library.
