To accompany "Telling Tales: From Oral Tradition to Art," the latest Special Collections exhibition on the 2nd floor of Parkway Central Library, we are showing three films related to mythology this fall! The series includes Jason and the Argonauts (1963) on Monday, October 28th, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) on Saturday, November 23rd, and Clash of the Titans (1981) on Monday, December 16th.

Join us for the second of these three screenings on Saturday, November 23th at 2:00 p.m. We will be watching the Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, which is based on a European fairytale that dates back to the sixteenth century. With an excellent cast and a blend of fantasy and adventure, this screening is family-friendly and suited to all ages!

We will be showing the movie on the 4th floor of Parkway Central Library in Room 405. This event is free and open to the public with no prior registration required. We hope to see you there!

Be sure to stop by the 2nd Floor West Gallery at Parkway Central to view our "Telling Tales" exhibition, which features materials from the Children's Literature Research Collection, Map Collection, and Print and Picture Collection. The exhibition is up from October 15th through January 4th.
