Learn from the Chef: Fresh Fish & Summer Sides
Virtual
Create a chef-driven, multi-course summer meal, with help from a pro! Food Network "Chopped" Champion, Chef Clara Park, will teach you how to make a simple and elegant summer dinner in about an hour. The menu of pan seared trout with sauteed greens and chili oil, charred broccoli salad, and stone fruit crumble brings the restaurant dining experience into your very own home.
Learn the basics of picking out fish, fish cookery, identifying quality leafy greens, high temperature vegetable roasting and the versatile crumble that can transform any seasonal fruit into something magical. We may all miss restaurants, but you can learn some of the tricks of the trade and make chef driven meals in the comfort of your kitchen.
Tickets for the program are $10 per household and can be purchased via Eventbrite. Participants will receive a grocery and equipment list a week prior, for those who would like to cook along.
Please note that SNAP eligible participants may be provided with a free ticket, with advance communication. Please email kitchen@freelibrary.org to reserve a ticket, no questions asked.
