Want to fill a new sketchbook at home or find new inspiration for your existing one? This group will regularly meet online with a librarian from the Free Library's Art Department to discuss and take on sketchbook prompts from the e-book: Playing with Sketches : 50 Creative Exercises for Designers and Artists, look at the different approaches to working in sketchbooks taken by the artists featured in a second e-book: The Sketchbook Project World Tour and share their resulting work with each other. 

No prior drawing experience or materials required! We'll talk about assembling a simple blank book, making do with whatever art supplies are already around the house and the different kinds of content sketchbooks can be filled with. Both e-books are freely available to anyone with a Free Library of Philadelphia card.
