In this ‘Hear Me Out’ dialogue, we will offer an informative presentation on how companies and other organizations use your data and steps you can take at a personal and community level to protect your data, followed by moderated breakout discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with fellow Pennsylvanians to discuss the impacts of our social media engagement and online habits on the privacy of our data. Topics of discussion will include the ways that our data is used in daily life, navigating the online terrain of social media, and weighing technological innovation with personal privacy. Gather virtually to learn more about data protection and connect with individuals across the state!
