Join Pennsylvanians across distances and differences for an informative and authentic dialogue about the potential impacts of marijuana legalization in our state! This 90-minute virtual program will feature two speakers--Martin J. Smith, award-winning journalist and author who has documented the impact of marijuana decriminalization in Colorado, along with Theresa Nightingale, Community Outreach Coordinator for the PA Medical Marijuana Education Center--to discuss the policy questions involved, including medicinal uses and health effects, economic implications, and restorative justice approaches to decriminalization. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with fellow Pennsylvanians through facilitated small group discussions after our speakers. Advanced registration is required.
