Meditation at the Tree House
Andorra Library
Let's meditate together! We will explore various modalities of meditation in this 6-week program. Meditation has many benefits. It can reduce stress, help control anxiety, improve sleep and emotional health, and may reduce blood pressure and help control pain.
Bring something to sit on such as a pillow, bolster, or mat. A mask is also required; we will be meeting inside until the weather warms up a bit. This program is for adults and older teens.
This program will take place at the Wissahickon Environmental Center (WEC), also known as the Tree House, which is located at 990 West Northwestern Avenue. Please use Parking Lot 1
Check Facebook for updates or email JoAnne at WoodsJ@freelibrary.org. For other questions? Contact WEC at wec@phila.gov or 215.685.9285
Registration is required at treehousewec.eventbrite.com, and will open one week before the program. You can use this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wednesday-meditations-registration-269070405827
