Join staff from the Culinary Literacy Center and a very special guest beekeeper for a tasty and family-friendly program geared towards school-age children and their caregivers. Together, we will explore (and sample!) the honey from our library rooftop beehives while getting to know more about how this sweet ingredient is a part of one of our favorite fictional places to find Winnie the Pooh and friends. This event is offered in conjunction with the Mapping Imagination exhibit, open now in Parkway Central’s Dietrich Gallery. This program is presented in conjunction with the Free Library’s exhibition, Mapping Imagination: The Art of World-Building.
Please note that this program will be held in the Parkway Central Library in the Culinary Literacy Center and is recommended for families with children between ages 5 and 10.
Mapping Imagination: The Art of World-Building and its related programming are made possible by generous support from the Lindback Foundation, the Dolfinger-McMahon Foundation, and the Independence Foundation.
