Make Music Philly: Musical Instrument Petting Zoo & Musical Performances
Music Department at Parkway Central Library
Make Music Philly is returning to the Free Library! Keep Music Alive will be hosting our second annual Musical Instrument Petting Zoo. This all-ages, family-friendly event happens 30 minutes after our weekly Music and Movement program with Ms. Naomi. Bring your own lawn chairs or picnic blankets and spend the day with us in Shakespeare Park! We'll be making music from 11:30 AM - 2:30PM.
A variety of musical talent will be performing at this event! Performers include:
- Ami Yares, Executive Director and teaching artist from BuildaBridge International
- Jay Sand, founder of All Around This World Music
- Madeleine Le Bouteiller, French cellist
- Noteworthy Philadelphia, young adult a capella group
- Philly Drum Project, energizing percussive collective
This event will go on rain or shine! In case of poor weather, we will move inside the Parkway Central Library's lobby and the Music Department.
For any questions contact us via email at erefmus@freelibrary.org, or by phone at (215) 686- 5316.
