For many non-lawyers, the courtroom feels like an unfriendly and intimidating place to be. Small Claims Court was designed tp provide a user-friendly and low-cost alternative for resolving many civil disputes.  In this environment, every person has the right to represent himself or herself without the participation of a lawyer.  More Philadelphians would take advantage of this important community resource if they understood its rules and procedures.  On Friday, February 23rd at 11:00 A.M., Central Senior Services will present a free, Zoom program  which will provide an introduction to Small Claims Court in Philadelphia County. The special guests for this program are Judge Gregory Yorgey-Girdey and Deborah Gross, Esq,,the President and CEO of Pennsylvanians for Modern Couts.  This program is free, but advanced registration is required.
