The Business of Self Care: With Business Owner Deanna McLaughlin
Business Resource and Innovation Center at Parkway Central Library
Join us as we celebrate Women's History Month with Deanna McLaughlin, owner of Take Time to Breathe. Entrepreneurs and professionals spend countless hours at their desk or on their screens, solving problems and attending to countless expense details to keep the business running, often at the expense of their health and well-being. This is a custom-made 1.5 hour workshop developed to conquer daily stress, dissolve neck and shoulder pain, reduce lower back pain, reduce anxiety, and rejuvenate your energy level without caffeine. Research-proven breath work and postural adjustments tailored to meet your needs while standing, working in a chair, or driving long distances will provide you with the tools of the trade to keep you feeling refreshed throughout your work day and after! Handouts and video links will be provided as a review and a summary of the workshop's content.
