Caring for Your Family Recipes
Rare Book Department at Parkway Central Library
Have an old recipe book or recipe cards that you want to preserve? Join Maddie Cooper, Preventative Conservator, and Katie Lowe, Preservation Specialist from the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) as they give you tips on how to care for these objects. Stick around for a recipe swap and the chance for individual consultations on an item from your collection. Bring your recipes to share!
Free and open to the public, this event does not require registration. It will be held in the Rare Book Department on the third floor of the Parkway Central Library.
This program is part of We Are What We Eat, the latest exhibition from the Free Library's Special Collections. Visit freelibrary.org/eat to learn more and find related events. The exhibition is on view through August 30, 2024.
