Making a Block Printed Flower Garden with Gabriel Echeverri!
Fishtown Community Library
Kids and families: Join artist Gabriel Echeverri to learn the basics of block printing! Participants will use pre-carved print blocks, along with stamp ink pads, to create their own colorful flower garden on cardstock. Afterward, participants can take their new artwork home. All materials provided.
Gabriel Echeverri makes block prints inspired by their own experiences with resistance movements, folklore, flora and fauna, queerness, and struggles with mental health.
