Film Screening: Clash of the Titans (1981)
Print and Picture Collection at Parkway Central Library
To accompany "Telling Tales: From Oral Tradition to Art," the latest Special Collections exhibition on the 2nd floor of Parkway Central Library, we are showing three films related to mythology this fall! The series includes Jason and the Argonauts (1963) on Monday, October 28th, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) on Saturday, November 23rd, and Clash of the Titans (1981) on Monday, December 16th.
Join us for the final screening in this series on Monday, December 16th at 5:30 p.m. We will be watching the Clash of the Titans (1981), which is loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus. While it might not stick to a classic telling of the Greek myth, this classic adventure movie provides a sweeping overview and is full of fun along the way.
Find us on the 4th floor of Parkway Central Library in Room 405. This event is free and open to the public with no prior registration required. We hope to see you there!
Be sure to stop by the 2nd Floor West Gallery at Parkway Central to view our "Telling Tales" exhibition, which features materials from the Children's Literature Research Collection, Map Collection, and Print and Picture Collection. The exhibition is up from October 15th through January 11th.
