Children's Department at Parkway Central Library
Join Tempest Cooper in an interactive, educational and culturally enriching experience. We will be reading children’s books in Black American Sign Language (BASL) and participating in a Juneteenth activity. Children and caregivers will have the opportunity to learn sign language together and you will also have the opportunity to explore poems. This program is ideal for children ages 5-12 years old.
