Neighborhood Science

Tue, April 23, 2013 3:30 P.M.
Queen Memorial Library

Discover how horseshoe crabs can save a human life, how seastars can re-grow lost limbs, and how sharks use different types of teeth to eat their prey.  Then, learn how chemicals in our foods (even “natural” foods) activate our taste receptors for sweet, salty, sour, and bitter.

Join us from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for a hands-on, interactive event produced as part of the 2013 Philadelphia Science Festival!
