PIX Open Call Artist Talk: Joel Katz
Print and Picture Collection at Parkway Central Library
On April 6, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., artist Joel Katz will talk about his work in the Print and Picture Collection. Joel's work was selected as part of PIX Open Call 2015, a call for entries for juried two-person exhibitions, and will be on view in the Print and Picture Collection Hallway Gallery alongside the work of Jackie Neale March 14 through April 29, 2016.
Joel Katz is an information designer and photographer. He teaches Design for Understanding at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He has a BFA and MFA in graphic design from the Yale School of Art. Katz has won the Rome Prize from the American Academy in Rome and is an AIGA/Philadelphia Fellow. His design work and photography have been widely exhibited and published in the U.S. and abroad.
