Temple University Professor Roland Williams, Jr. provides a compelling second look at the lives and work of two of the most remarkable writers that the Harlem Renaissance produced.  Hurston, an anthropologist and folklorist as well as a novelist, produced a timeless classic, Their Eyes Were Watching God.  James Weldon Johnson had multiple careers, as a diplomat, song writer, educator, attorney and writer. His novel, The Autobiography of an Ex-Colored Man, will never be forgotten.
