Oak Lane Library

Join us to discuss The Man Who Planted Trees: A Story of Lost Groves, the Science of Trees, and a Plan to Save the Planet. We’ll also hear from the city’s Parks and Recreation’s Tree Philly program to learn we can be stewards of neighborhood and yard trees, view images from Tree Philly’s arborist photography project, and share our own tree stories.

This program is inspired by the exhibition In Our Nature: Flora and Fauna of the Americas, on view through September 15 in the Rare Book Department, Parkway Central Library.
