Notes:
Image taken by Philadelphia Evening Bulletin photographer Charles T. Higgins. In this January 1947 aerial view of the Philadelphia skyline, a few of the buildings one can see are the Ritz-Carlton Tower (distant center left), all but blocking City Hall, except for the statue of William Penn atop the City Hall tower; the tall building in the center is the Lewis Tower office building (today, condominiums); and to its immediate right is the Bellevue-Stratford.
