Reproduction Services
High-resolution images from the Free Library of Philadelphia's collections are available for publication and other uses, within copyright and licensing restrictions. The Free Library reserves the right to decline to provide any of its images for any reason and at its discretion. Reproduction and licensing fees help support the collections, services, and programs of the Free Library of Philadelphia.
Noncommercial reproduction orders are handled in-house. A Reproduction Agreement will be provided to you before your order is fulfilled. The Library's Reproduction Agreement must be signed and returned with payment before any service is rendered.
Please note: Commercial reproduction requests are handled by Bridgeman Art Library. Commercial requests are forwarded to a Bridgeman representative, who will contact you directly with a quote based on your proposed use of the image(s) requested. Orders handled by Bridgeman are not subject to the fee schedule below and are invoiced directly by Bridgeman.
The Free Library of Philadelphia does not offer rush services. Refunds are not offered for reproduction services, even if the image(s) is not used.
Instructions
Complete the Reproduction Request Form. Be sure to include the Item Nos. for images found in the Free Library's Digital Collections. For images not found online, please include as much information as possible, i.e. department or collection, image title, creator, etc. If you need assistance locating this information, please contact the appropriate Library Department.

Reproduction processing of images already in our Digital Collection will take between 3-5 business days. Images not in our Digital Collection take longer to process and require a scanning fee in addition to the processing fee.

- Licensing or reproduction fees charged by Bridgeman Art Library are not reflected above and are invoiced separately from any Free Library of Philadelphia service fees.
- High-resolution images are considered to be images of 300 dpi or greater or files that are 80MB or greater.
- The Library reserves the right to decline to scan or photograph any item.
- The Free Library of Philadelphia does not offer rush services.
