According to Temple University Digital Collections, this 1931 photograph shows a prospective site for a new county prison, which would "take the place of Moyamensing Prison, to become a house of detention for untried prisoners." The proposed location for this new prison was in northeast Philadelphia, near the intersection of Meeting House & Townsend Roads. There's no information that the prison was ever built.
