This March 27, 1956, image shows the Philadelphia Warriors (in white) playing the Syracuse Nationals, in game 3 of the 1956 Eastern Division playoffs of the NBA.  The Warriors won the game, then went on to win the division and the championship.  In 1962, the Warriors moved to San Fransisco, becoming the Golden Gate Warriors; and in 1963, the Syracuse Nationals moved to Philadelphia, becoming the Philadelphia 76ers.

This game was played in West Philadelphia's then Covention Hall, at 3400 Civic Center Boulevard.  Convention Hall was closed in 1996 and demolished in 2005.  It had already been replaced by the Pennsylvania Convention Center at 1101 Arch Street, in 1993.
