DETROIT, Jan. 26 - FORD PRODUCTION LINE TO BE AFFECTED BY STEEL SHORTAGE. The final assembly line of the Ford Motor Company's Rouge plant is show before that company's production was affected by the steel shortage, causing 15,000 employees to be laid off yesterday. Thousands of 1946 Mercurys have gone to dealers as production reached 200 cars per day. 1946
