"Around the world in a Haynes." This is what Elid S. Stanley, cinematographer and motion picture producer, is doing. The appearance of his car recalls the days of warfare, when camouflaging was in style. Because the car has held up so well, Mr. Stanley has not forgotten to feature the name "Haynes" in very conspicuous places. Mr. Stanley is from Hollywood, California, the movie center of the world, and is taking pictures of beautiful landscapes in the United States, Canada, Europe and other foreign countries. According to the markings on the hood, this Haynes has traveled approximately 250, 000 miles. Reading from left to right: William Elliott Phelps, general sales manager of the Haynes Automobile Company; Frank N. Nutt, chief engineer of the Haynes Automobile Company; J. W. Johnson, director of The Haynes Automobile Company; Elid S. Stanley, cinematographer and motion picture producer, and Gilbert U. Radove, director advertising of The HAynes Automobile Company. July, 1921.
