Includes heavy street and pedestrian traffic. Horse-drawn carriages, wagons, an omnibus, and drays travel in the street in addition to a dray situated to be loaded in front of the Jayne Buil ding. Clusters of pedestrians walk near the Jayne and the Saving Fund buildings. In the foreground, on the opposite side of the street, families stroll, converse, and are greeted by other individuals near men, including laborers, talking near a pile of crates and a loaded dray. Also shows lettering reading "Howard" above the doorway of 92 Chestnut Street and a partial view of adjacent buildings.
