Greater Precision Testing of automatic transmissions is provided by a new computer controlled test system at Chrysler Corporation's Kokomo, Indiana, Transmission Plant as shown in the diagram. This completely automated system augments manual testing prior to assembly of transmissions into vehicles. The system is capable of checking 28 transmissions at one time.
