Actor Killed in Crash of Auto--Hollywood, California.
The battered roadster in which stage and screen comedian Charles Butterworth, 46, was killed early today is inspected following the accident. Butterworth was thrown from the car by the terrific force of the crash, his head hitting the cement pavement. The car had skidded 180 feet before crashing into a building at Sunset Boulevard and Pluma Drive. June, 13th, 1946. Photo by Ben White.
