Notes:
February 25, 1983. Ford EEC-1V Computerised Engine Control System. The world's most advanced electronic engine control system, the Ford EEC-1V, is so powerful that it can process a million commands a second. The computations performed in each minute of engine operations would take a human an estimated 45 years or more using a manually operated calculator. About the size of a car radio now, the EEC-1V control module shown here would have occupied a room in 1960, the trunk (boot) of a car in 1970.
