Many signs are mounted on the storefront and building: "Money lent on goods"; "Jones & Co's old established money loan office" ; "Loan office. Money 516 loaned" ; "Money advanced on goods" ; Jones & Co's old established money loan office. Money loaned [on] personal property of every description." ; "Money loaned on watches, diamonds, jewelry, plate, clothing, &c."
