The view down the street, with street cars and trolley tracks, horse-drawn wagons and carriages, and subway construction equipment on street. Sidewalks and street busy with people. Police on horseback stand at the south corner. Commercial buildings include:
"Heilbron's" ; "Tho. Martindale & Co." ; "Gimbel Brothers" ; "Pilsner beer" ; "The People's Store" ; "Otto Eisenlohr & Bros." Horse-drawn carriage with sign: "National local express to here."
