Notes: "This building remained standing until the early 1960s, when it was known as the John Bartram Hotel. Beside it on the south side is the Broad Street Theatre, with Lillian Russell's name in lights, and next to the right is the Hotel Stenton. At present these lots are vacant and used for parking. The view is from the roof of the Hotel Windemere, a residential hotel where the famous artist Joseph Pennell once lived."--OPEP, p. 180.
