Notes: "A view of the parade proceeding south on Broad Street shows the horse-drawn floats and the multitude crowding the stands which had been built along both sides of Broad Street. The buildings here are, from the left, Horticultural Hall, the Academy of Music, the Windemere Hotel, the Stratford and Bellevue Hotels and, in the distance, the Land Title Building."--OPEP, p. 185.
Notes: The parade, floats carrying people pulled by horses on street. Signs on first two floats read: "5/A First in War" and "5/A First in Peace." Men on horseback, walking alongside and behind floats. On the sidewalk, stands crowded with people. Men and women watch parade from the Academy of Music's second floor parapet.
