 All 1934 Auburn sixes and straight-eight cars are equipped with a new and unique type of kick-shackle which is attached to the frame and springs to absorb road shocks and contribute to the easy handling qualities of the cars. This unit includes three live rubber bushings that act as cushions, movements being absorbed through them rather than through the springs. It is attached to the left front spring at the front end.
