 Draft-free controlled ventilation is introduced by Auburn on its 1934 Sixes and Straight-Eight lines as an important health and confort feature of these cars. This new system utilizes the velocity of air currents set up by motion of the car to send fresh air into the body, eject smoke and stale air and minimize windshield frosting. The front windows are of split-section type enabling operating of the window as a unit or the front section only may be raised or lowered. A new type rain and insect proof cowl ventilator also is a part of the new ventilating system.
