Notes:

This roadster which I have been unable to identify, is driven by Harold Porter who was the designer of the BLISS of 1906. He was later connected with the ARGONNE of 1919-1920. The car carries a 1913 New Jersey license tag identifying it as "Mfrs Car 3" and "781M". The full foliage would indicate this photo was taken in the summer of 1913. However, the car itself has characteristics of autos much earlier than that year, for example, acetylene lamps, straight rear fenders and hood straps denote a car of 1909 or 1910. Other physical features of the car which could assist in identification are semi-elliptical springs all around, flat-topped hood and radiator, lack of a distinct fire-wall, scuttle-like dash, ten-spoke front wheels and pointed front fender.

Harold Porter previously assisted in design of The Bliss and later The Argonne.
