Notes:

Upper left: The new "face" of the 1961 Cadillac is accented by a visor-like cap formed by the front fenders and hood, emphasizing the all-new styling and sculptured appearance.

Upper right: The instrument panel and instrument cluster are of a new design, with further refinements in ease of operation and greater visibility. A 16-inch steering wheel is used on the 1961 models, one inch smaller than last year.

Lower left: Cadillac's symbolic identification feature--the tail fins--are retained although lowered slightly. The distinctive tail lamps are integrated again into the tail fin which greatly enhances the lean, crisp appearance.

Lower right: The rear styling and lighting arrangement immediately identify the car as a Cadillac. The sculptural design continuity carries around into the rear end styling, with the deck lid edge being an extension of the design line that runs the length of the car.
