Detroit- The classic Fleetwood Eldorado Convertible shows the crisply sculptured individual front and rear fender treatment. The traditional Cadillac cross-hatch grille design is bold in character on this popular front-wheel-drive car and the motif features square grille openings above and below the center bumper bar. As on the standard Cadillac, the grille is mounted to the bumper enabling it to retract with the bumper on impact, telescoping below the hood to minimize the possibility of contact, and then restoring to its original position. The hood has a flatter profile and the new parking lamps wrap around the fender into the cornering lamp. Overall side appearance of this luxury personal car is enhanced by the new extended body molding accenting the length. There are 153 combinations of the finest leathers and fabrics in the 1973 Cadillacs.
