Detroit- The Fleetwood Eldorado for 1973 retains the classic look of its predecessors, but with exterior styling changes in the grille, lighting, side moldings and ornamentation. Tail lamps and back-up lamps are all new as is the deck lid which because of its new design reduces overall length. The license plate area has been moved upward out of the impact area. Incorporated in the wreath and crest on the rear quarter panels are a reflex and side marker light. Further customer value options on 1973 Cadillacs include an electronic theft deterrent device which operates off the ignition switch, an all-new illuminated vanity mirror and a new electrically heated rear window defogger. The windshielf wiper control has been redesigned and fully illuminated on all series.
