1981 Capri
Classy and Sporty-- For 1981, the new Capri GS (top) replaces the Capri Ghia. It features black dual remote-control mirrrors and a host of luxurious interior appointments, including deep cut-pile carpeting, a door-map pocket and Interior Light Group. Sporty flair is added to Capri's European styling with the striking Black Magic Option (shown here with the exciting new optional T-roof). Black Magic is offered in black or white paint with gold accents, a hood scoop, a rear spoiler, a Rally suspension system and TRX radial tires on metric forged-aluminum wheels with a special gold-color finish. Availablei n four models, the 1981 Capri has a wide variety of power teams, including four-, six-, and eight-cylinder engines. The 1981 Capri is rated by the Environmenal Protection Agency at 23 miles per gallon for city driving and 34 on the highway.
