The 1977 Capri- introudced in the spring of 1977- retains its precise building, elegant appointments and hatchback practicality. The "Sexy European" is offered in two models- a base three-door sports coupe and a luxurious Ghia version. Also available this year is the Capri Rally Cat (Shown above) a dealer-installed option which includes wide hood and decklid tape stripes, a lower bodyside tap stripe incorporating the name Capri and a color-keyed decklid spoiler.
