My Dear Bradbury.
I am very much obliged to you for your considerate note, and heartily glad to see your familiar old handwriting.
I sent, the day before yesterday, addressed to Evans, a very short preface to the Cheap Editions of the Christmas books--short, because I really have nothing to say! This is all I have to add to the last Number; and I leave your experience and taste (for when did they ever fail to help me in such matters!) to render the making-up a triumph of art.
With all friendly feelings and good wishes,
Believe me Ever
Faithfully Yours
W. Bradbury Esquire Charles Dickens
