(Top photo catpion): The Chevrolet Monza 2+2 is a conventionally arranged vehicle with integral frame and body, front mounted engine and transmission, and rear wheel drive. Independent front suspension is common with Vega in basic design. Braking system consists of front discs and rear drums. Steering is conventional. The exhaust system will use an underfloor catalytic converter with all engines. Front and rear bumper systems will use hydraulic enersorbers.

 

(Bottom photo caption): To relate the Monza 2+2's exterior size, it is compared here to the 1975 Vega hatchback. Wheelbase, car overall width, and designed height are the same. Overall length is 179.3 inches, an increase of 2.6 inches, front overhang at 36.8 inches is 7 tenths greater and rear overhang at 45.5 inches, 1.8 tenths greater.
