More Spirit for Chevrolet Sportsters- Chevrolet's famed sports car, the Corvette, and its running mate, the Camaro, offer more driving zest in 1976 with new power train developments and styling and structural refinements. With the discontinuance of the convertible model, the Corvette is available only in the sport coupe (top pnoto). Highlighted are a new lighter weight automatic transmission and partial steel underbody. The Camaro, with sporty Type LT coupe shown in bottom photo, will have a new and more economical small block 305 V8 base engine and improvedd braking.
